The Whip – ‘Trash’ live

In 2007, Southern Fried Records wanted to release a special edition DVD to accompany the first 10,000 copies of The Whip’s debut album. I was asked to shoot a gig at Manchester’s Warehouse Project nightclub, from which I made the following edit of iconic track Trash. Football United – Highfield Rangers

A touching portrait of Leicestershire football club Highfield Rangers, established in 1970 by a group of West Indian immigrants in an otherwise all-white league. The film chronicles the club’s journey through the decades up to the present day where they may not be winning the league but there is no doubt that they are true champions of the community. Exploring issues surrounding multi-culturalism, inclusion and ambition, this film gets to the heart of the beautiful game. Shot in less than a day and edited with a quick turnaround too. Made...
